I'm assuming that you've seen this movie as you read this, so you know the story of Grace (Kidman) and her 2 kids in a big dark house and the creepy servants. Many people here have commented on the Sixth Sense style ending, well, I thought that Sense was the most boring film I've ever seen with a highly obvious ending, this movie on the other hand was a superbly crafted fright-fest. The direction was great, the editing, cinematography, and Ms. Kidman holds the screen with such power that it had me glued to this film for the entire duration. I appreciated the obsolute lack of violence / swearing / nudity something that would have greatly dragged this movie down. In short this is an extremely atmospheric movie, very claustrophobic, and very old fashioned. If you like this, try "Stir of Echoes" with Kevin Bacon. "The Others" 4/5
